Everyone who forgives is a Healer!
"Everyone who forgives is a healer" may seem like an unusual title for a website that is asking for your assistance financially.
I got this phrase, "everyone who forgives is a healer" from Gary Renard <garyrenard.com>, the best-selling author of two books: "The Disappearance of the Universe - Straight Talk About Illusions, Past Lives, Religion, Sex, Politics, and the Miracles of Forgiveness" and "Your Immortal Reality - How to Break the Cycle of Birth and Death." I was assisting at a workshop Gary did at The Studio in Haiku, on Maui, Hawaii, back on November 17, 2007. He said the quoted phrase during his workshop and this phrase "everyone who forgives is a healer" stuck with me.
I didn't think much about it then, I just thought that this is something I need to remember. I also need to remember to criticize less, judge less and forgive more.
Knowing that "everyone who forgives is a healer" reminds me that every time I forgive anyone, anything, I help myself, I heal myself. This is what the ACIM and Gary, among others, teach.
Now, I need your help. Please forgive me for not being perfect and for making mistakes. And, please help me get out of the $15K debt that I currently find myself dealing with due to the accident of 12/12/07. I need for you to contribute whatever funds you can find to me, Steven Blue, in Wailuku, HI 96793.
E-mail me using the "Contact Me" form for my physical address. If you can help, in return I have a couple of things for you: see next page: "Giving is Receiving."
I know you can give, because I, myself, give regularly - when I can. Recently, a woman called me from Reno, Nev. She called because I have a web site: <surftaximaui.com> and she needed a ride to Lahaina from the Kahului Airport. I said I could do it. She kept calling me and calling me. Each time I said I would take her to Lahaina. She was going over to Lahaina for a job interview. The first night she didn't have a place to stay, so I let her stay at my house, which is really small. The next day, I took her back to Lahaina and rented an apartment for her for two days to help her get back on her feet (someplace beside my small house). I ended up giving her another $200+ for other expenses. I hope to get this money back when she succeeds, which I expect she will do. I have been driving my own taxi here on Maui for five years and help other people when I can. I also teach a volunteer class at the local prison (MCCC) on the importace and power of forgiveness.
The really cool thing: I was in a position to help her (I thought), so I did. I felt really prosperous giving her the money for transportation and a place to live. If she is as hard a worker as she says she is, she will someday pay me back. Or she never will. I still feel prosperous and resourceful - (and currently almost out of money and in debt). How was I to know I would have an accident? I guess that's why we call them accidents.
I live on Maui, Hawaii. I have been living in Hawaii for 27 years and I have gotten into trouble in the past when I needed help and did not ask for it. I have almost always thought that I was smart enough, clever enough, or strong enough to take care of myself and those around me, so I rarely needed to ask for help. Boy, have I been wrong. I am just another human who has most often failed to listen to his inner guide (the Holy Spirit, intuition, Nature, whatever you want to call it) and has instead listened to my ego which always lead me astray. I have made mistakes that have sabotaged my life and happiness. Now, I know to ask for help instead of thinking I can do everything myself.
Therefore, I am humbly requesting your financial assistance in getting me out of debt here.
As you may know, while beautiful, Maui is an expensive place to live. Many people living here, if not rich already, work two or three jobs just to stay even. I work, driving my taxi, up to 16 hours/day, 6-7 days/week. I love what others might call a "job." While you can call what I do "work," I do actually enjoy driving around Maui, seeing the spectacular scenery, and getting paid for it.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to earn enough to get far enough ahead to not have to work 16 hours/day. Which brings us to the next page of this web site: "Giving is Receiving."
The accident of 12/12/07, really slowed me down. Go on to "Giving is Receiving" to see the inspiration that came to me when I quieted my mind and just listened to my inner guide.
Onward: To: "Giving is Receiving."
